Thoughts and prayers…

For those who were killed and injured, and their families in the aftermath of the shooting in Las Vegas.

What truly angers me is that this is already been politicized before the blood is even dry. This was domestic terrorism, plain and simple, but there are no REAL facts yet.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT POLITICS- This is about Americans of all faiths, colors, and jobs being killed by a madman, not something to be twisted into serving an agenda. I will not name that son of a bitch, other than to damn him to hell.

I am proud of the military, LEOs, firefighters, and others who stepped up and helped their fellow man to either get to cover, or guide them to safety, while the LEOs ran toward the sound of guns.

Loving God,
Welcome into your arms the victims of violence and terrorism.
Comfort their families and all who grieve for them.
Help us in our fear and uncertainty,
And bless us with the knowledge that we are secure in your love.
Strengthen all those who work for peace,
And may the peace the world cannot give reign in our hearts.

Thoughts and prayers… — 10 Comments

  1. Professionals did what they do, things went bad and they performed, BZ.

What impressed me was some of the interviews, stories, and actions of those who had zero training, yet in a few minutes of chaos they took action.

They were mostly young, they helped any way they could. Lot of character in those young Americans.

    Made me proud!

  2. Hey Old NFO;

Very good prayer, and I hope the country can find peace and serenity again. Right now people are pushing agendas rather than waiting for the facts to come out and that is the disheartening part of it.

  3. Social media is harming more than it’s helping, seems to me. Way more hate flying around than there should be.
Other than a couple blogs, texting with family and a few good friends I’m pretty close to being done with all the crap. Life is too precious and short to waste it.

  4. Thank you for the prayer, I know that it came from the heart, and was meant, with all sincerity. You’re a good guy, and I’m happy to know you.
