Enjoy the day and the fireworks.
And an historic note on what happened to 56 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, HERE. They did NOT get off lightly…
Take time today to put aside petty jealousies and JUST ENJOY THE DAY!

Hey Old NFO;
Happy 4th to us as a Nation. I posted what I posted than saw what you had….Great minds think alike, LOL
Bob- LOL, that we do…
Nice post, Old NFO. I never knew what the ultimate fate was for the signers of the Declaration; now I’m somewhat enlightened.
Thinking about your last journey, my brother Shotgun Bob and his family were traveling back home earlier this week – Santa Monica, CA to Rice Lake, WI. Their journey began by getting up at 4:30 AM, dealing with poor air service until they hit good old terra firma again in Minneapolis – Saint Paul, then driving home. Greeting the dogs and cats, then in bed by midnight. Shotgun Bob is younger than I am, but that is a long day for anyone on the wrong side of 40.
Feel blessed to have been born here.
“Hello American Sailor. Hello Freedom Man!”
God Bless America!
Happy 4th and Thank you for your service
Thank you Navy.
One day, first round’s on me.
