It is astonishing what dogs will put up with. Though I am reminded of the claim that horses put will put up with all the utter insanity of humans, because as nasty as humans can be, overall they are NICER than how horses treat each other.
Orvan- Horses are ‘herd’ animals. Depends on the stallion in charge… sigh
Er, a mare is in charge. Stallion keeps the group together. Mare decides where they go.
