My senators don’t give a rat’s patootie about my opinions on anything. They will get re-elected with 60+% of the vote anyway when the time comes.

The Democrats see him as a good pick – someone nonplussed at killing Americans. I am sure that he would also not be concerned about the law; he would do what he wanted and ask the courts to throw out cases against him and BATFE.
