Well…

We’re now a week into the flustercluck that is Kabul…

Ramirez nailed it, as always…

Still no idea how many Americans have actually gotten out, there are reports that Americans are being beaten, Afghani supporters being shot, and the embassy issued ‘warnings’ to Americans to NOT come to the airport. But according to Xiden, “Nothing is wrong, everything is on track.”

Just for reference, in two days August 29-30, 1975, the US Marines and Air America pulled over 7000 people out of the embassy in Saigon with NO loss of life, and made numerous pickups out in town, including the infamous picture of the Huey on the rooftop of a secondary pickup site.

Meanwhile…

Fed up, disappointed, angry, (and I’m being polite)…

It is also absolutely ABSURD to not be coordinating with other boots on the ground in Kabul including the Brits, Germans, Poles, French, and others. Is Xiden really that stupid, or is this Austin’s or Milley’s doing???

  1. I love the arrogance of the US commander telling the Brits to stop the SAS making the US look bad. If he doesn’t want to look bad, saddle up and walk the walk.

      • For the US Commander in country, (82nd Airborne?) to saddle up and walk the walk, he’d need to regrow the balls he obviously handed over to Gen. Millie Milley (see what I did there?) Disgusting.

  2. Not failing to coordinate with others in rescuing our people, refusing to do so.
This is so wrong that it can not be explained as ignorance, stupidity, or error. This is the intended result, and can only be enemy action.
Without a hostage crisis, there is no rational way to give the Taliban all of Afghanistans’ money, plus more of ours.
Those behind Biden need more to destroy Americas’ reputation internationally.
After all, there is still Taiwan to be taken.

  3. The number of people that were abandoned is somewhere between 10K and 30K, depending on which story is popular for the hour.

    • Unfortunately, we will never know that, Ed, because some of them will never be found.

  4. When, dude! When! A thousand times when!

    Lol.

    Seriously though. When.

Love your blog. Long time lurker. Couldn’t resist commenting on the meme!

  5. I saw one quick remark from some pentagon prince bragging about getting 17,000(?) people out and at the bottom of the story was that 2500 were Americans. Which, if true, pretty much tells one where the dp(demented pedophile), the cs(commie-slut)and the mc(mil-c**ts) put their priorities.

  6. Love the PIC BTW. If the marine Commandant was Chief of Staff The Donahue BS would have NEVER HAPPENED and our people would have already been pulled out of there through Bagram AFB. Regardless of what the walking vegetable in the White House thinks.

  7. After the Taliban spoof of the picture of Iwo Jima flag raising I’m sure the whole of the USMC is ready to make them pay.

As for Austin and Miley, they are political pawns now managing up.
“I was just following orders!” will haunt them the rest of their lives.

    • That spoof of the flag raising is both abhorrent, and brilliantly done. Now, before anyone goes nuts at the last bit of my comment, I have this to say. I’m an Australian, 20+ years service in the Royal Australian Air Force, so believe me when I say, had those bastards done something similar regarding Australians troops and boots, I’m 71, buggered back and legs, but by Christ, as feeble as I am, I’d be losing my shit, exactly as I am doing now. HOW DARE those mongrels do that,I desperately hope there will be an accounting. You Yanks helped Australia BIG TIME, in WW11, as I frequently remind my 12 year old Grandson. His Father is a Squadron Warrant Officer, R.A.A.F., and by the living Harry, our whole Family is searingly proud of Him!, particularly Me, and his Son, Ryan Paul Garfath. Australia might be geographically large, with a population of just on 26 million, and yeah, our Defense Forces, Army, Navy and Air Force, are not huge, but, one thing too many Bastards in high places ignore, or choose to dismiss. Australia remembers its friends, and doesn’t forget it’s Enemies.

      • Welcome, SGT Garfath, although I would guess you have been reading here for some time.

A Salute to you and yours.

Aye, there will be an accounting.

        • Good. I’ve been reading you for about four years, and whenever you swing your hammer of comment, you hit the nail squarely on the head, every time, for which I am very thankful. Now, I’m not trying to ‘piss in your pocket’ (suck up severely), but you are an oasis in a sea of insanity, well done!.

  8. I’m sure there is some truth to be found, but not on the major news outlets.

As far as Biden, he’s still the same bumbling, foolish, corrupt politician he’s always been. They polished him up for the last election, and I’m still convinced he wasn’t even close to being legally placed in office.

  9. Yes, he that stupid. As are the incompetent Austin and Milley. What a clusterfukc

  10. The People, and by that I mean the general public, while irritated at the government, aren’t at the Capitol with staves, pitchforks and torches. They were, but some of them are being held apparently indefinitely as political prisoners.

So we haven’t reached the tipping point yet. We (not your blog readers, but the American We) accept the walking corpse and the whore calling the shots and buffoons like Milley strutting around bullshitting about race and changing men into women as Job One.

    • Point of Order: The Baidu Jiangshi is in fact a /hopping/ corpse, not a walking corpse. Distinction is significant.

  11. I wish the Brit had said “We’re not making you look bad, you are.”

Only CMH awardee I ever met was a bird Colonel who was in a Korean Gateway class across the hall from us. Idiot airman in the class asked him how he got it. He said “Sometimes it’s not so much what you do as who’s watching.” He was Command Pilot on the last Huey out of Saigon.

  12. As we used to say in the missile biz, “Nuke ’em ’til they glow.” Not gonna happen, though. DANG.

      • Are you kidding? If the carrier is as sharp as his boss, the football has already been lost, probably in closet in the basement.

  13. At this point I’m ready. There was a point where I said “Be careful what you wish for concerning civil war and the like. It’ll break EVERYTHING.” I’ve come to realize that about the only thing that isn’t broken is my resolve to defend my country from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC…

“Science” has yet to develop a device to plumb the depths of Biteme’s stupidity…

  14. Thanks to Bayou Renaissance Man, I am currently reading “Never Mind We’ll Do It Ourselves.” What started out as an inspiring true story about an irrepressible group of American mavericks doing what need to be done to develop the technical resources and operational tactics to make armed drones a valuable tool in our bag of tricks, has been turned into a bitter read. All thanks to the vacant suit and his handlers and stooges in the White House.

  15. All- Thanks for the comments. There is a ‘group’ of milvets, analysts, and others that are currently using available tech (no details), to get people around roadblocks, directing them to the airport, or out of Afghanistan using direct comms with the people on the ground.

And the Italians have put a team in country that are extracting their folks ‘through’ the Taliban.

If you get a phone call from ‘friends’ asking questions, give them the answers, they have a reason for asking.

  16. To make matters worse, the FedGov is charging evacuees, well, US citizens, for the flight out of hell. They’re not charging the ‘refugees,’ of which most seem to be military-aged men, no women, no children, men. Gutless cowards.

The Vietnamese men fought and died so their wives and children would live. Their old people gave up seats and freedom for children and pregnant ladies.

The useless Afghani refugee, being of military age and almost exclusively male? Toss them out at 20,000. Unless and only if they are accompanied by their wives and children.

Still, Feckless Jo and the Missing Ho are charging US citizens for their (Jo and Ho’s) screwup and disaster?

I am enjoying watching the American eneMedia realize they annointed a feckless piece of dog squeeze and are now trying to backpedal. Only problem is, if Jo and the Ho are jettisoned due to total incompetence and stupidity (which was known before the election, I mean, combined they make John McCain, pre and post death, look like a friggin genius,) then what level of Damien will they be replaced by?

    • They would be replaced by Pelosi…not sure which scares me more…them or her…

we need a mandatory retirement age for folks in the fed.gov…too many senile folks thinking they can run the country. Biden, Pelosi, Faucci…

If you are 78+, stay home and enjoy the grandkids.

      • Suz, that and term limits might have worked 30 or 40 years ago, to prevent the shit show we have been watching for the last decade, the rot is too deep now.

  17. The DOJ, the Congress, and the military will do nothing about this disgusting show Biden and the Pentagon have put on. What America needs is a thorough house cleaning, from the White House to the Congress, and the Pentagon. The CIA, the NSA, and the rest of the alphabet soup agencies need swept clean also. It is past time for the American people to demand resignations of all senators and congressmen as well as the generals, and the Pseudo President. Time to reclaim the Republic.

    • Why couldn’t the Brits and Canadians have re-enacted the burning of DC on its bicentennial? We asked nicely.

  18. Beans- Yep…

Suz- That just made a shiver run down my back…stop it!

    John- Amen!!!

TOS- Not sure we’re going to have to ask…

  19. Nothin’ at all to add because you know how I feel.
Problem is, I don’t think we need to be ready to protect ourselves from enemies OUTSIDE our borders.
    Sigh.
