Open Letter from Retired Generals and Admirals

Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.

During the 2020 election an “Open Letter from Senior Military Leaders” was signed by 317 retired Generals and Admirals and, it said the 2020 election could be the most important election since our country was founded. “With the Democrat Party welcoming Socialists and Marxists, our historic way of life is at stake.” Unfortunately, that statement’s truth was quickly revealed, beginning with the election process itself.

Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the “will of the people” our Constitutional Republic is lost. Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc. Today, many are calling such commonsense controls “racist” in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic. Additionally, the “Rule of Law” must be enforced in our election processes to ensure integrity. The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020. Finally, H.R.1 & S.1, (if passed), would destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic.

Aside from the election, the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations. Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental Rights. We must support and hold accountable politicians who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class, not special interest or extremist groups which are used to divide us into warring factions.

Additional National Security Issues and Actions:

• Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists entry, health/CV19 dangers, and humanitarian crises. Illegals are flooding our Country bringing high economic costs, crime, lowering wages, and illegal voting in some states. We must reestablish border controls and continue building the wall while supporting our dedicated border control personnel. Sovereign nations must have controlled borders.

• China is the greatest external threat to America. Establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically and technologically. We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests.

• The free flow of information is critical to the security of our Republic, as illustrated by freedom of speech and the press being in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution. Censoring speech and expression, distorting speech, spreading disinformation by government officials, private entities, and the media is a method to suppress the free flow of information, a tyrannical technique used in closed societies. We must counter this on all fronts beginning with removing Section 230 protection from big tech.

• Re-engaging in the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal would result in Iran acquiring nuclear weapons along with the means to deliver them, thereby upsetting Mideast peace initiatives and aiding a terrorist nation whose slogans and goals include “death to America” and “death to Israel” . We must resist the new China/Iran agreement and not support the Iran Nuclear Deal. In addition, continue with the Mideast peace initiatives, the “Abraham Accords,” and support for Israel.

• Stopping the Keystone Pipeline eliminates our recently established energy independence and causes us to be energy dependent on nations not friendly to us, while eliminating valuable US jobs. We must open the Keystone Pipeline and regain our energy independence for national security and economic reasons.

• Using the U.S. military as political pawns with thousands of troops deployed around the U.S. Capitol Building, patrolling fences guarding against a non-existent threat, along with forcing Politically Correct policies like the divisive critical race theory into the military at the expense of the War Fighting Mission, seriously degrades readiness to fight and win our Nation’s wars, creating a major national security issue. We must support our Military and Vets; focus on war fighting, eliminate the corrosive infusion of Political Correctness into our military which damages morale and war fighting cohesion.

• The “Rule of Law” is fundamental to our Republic and security. Anarchy as seen in certain cities cannot be tolerated. We must support our law enforcement personnel and insist that DAs, our courts, and the DOJ enforce the law equally, fairly, and consistently toward all.

• The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night. Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.

Under a Democrat Congress and the Current Administration, our Country has taken a hard left turn toward Socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government which must be countered now by electing congressional and presidential candidates who will always act to defend our Constitutional Republic. The survival of our Nation and its cherished freedoms, liberty, and historic values are at stake.

We urge all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable. The “will of the people” must be heard and followed.

An open letter… — 24 Comments

  1. Something, probably a deliberate attack, has removed some of the content rendering much of the letter incomplete. Some sections end in partial sentences, others have partial sentences buried in the middle.
Most of the missing information deals with suggested corrective actions, thus leading to my suspicion of deliberate enemy action.
I suggest reading each sentence out loud to spot the issues as the brain normally skips over missing info to make things fit.
    This letter is important.

  2. The commies in power don’t give a red rats ass what these RETIRED officers think….because they are RETIRED. They pose no threat to the lefts grasp on power therefore they are IRRELEVANT. And they look at the rest of us EXACTLY the same way. What we want, think or believe DOES NOT MATTER. ALL that matters is that we get our asses back to work and create value that they can TAX and STEAL.

    • Dan – you are correct about how TPTB look at us. But that sure didn’t stop them from putting out the ‘ya can’t criticize the CIC’ letter post haste. It will get very interesting when they try to take punitive action against any of them.

  3. Errant gas. Just acknowledging the 800 lb. gorilla in the room is beyond these guys. “Get involved”?? What does that mean? Frowning at the computer screen? Writing angry letters on the internet that TPTB won’t read? What’s that going to do?

The FBI, the DOJ, CIA and all the others are hopelessly pozzed and corrupt. The judiciary actively rules against America every day. The Uniparty has made the soapbox and ballot box ineffective and the ruling class now actively suppresses them.

I’m not going to fedpoast on your blog NFO… but the time gentlemen and civility are over. Until a certain American tree is watered… nothing will change.

  4. Have a Happy Labor Day Mr. Curtis. I am celebrating by rereading the “Grey Man – Vignettes” book today.

  5. Bold yet irrelevant words from brave men who said and did nothing while they held positions of power.

Obviously, voting harder will save us from state socialism and vote fraud.

    • I think there may be flag officers alive who retired before Clinton. Before Clinton, there would have been fewer obvious signs of problems to address.

Senior officers are very calculating, anything they say has to be understood in that light. They can also be very hidebound, very conventional.

So, suppose one understands the new reality. If they have a plan to act, it is stupid to say anything. So, this to me sounds like a warning for a narrow audience, based on informed speculation about generalities, or ass covering. Or a statement based in obsolete information.

As people less interested in promotion and in liability, we have had a bit more freedom to speak wildly. That intellectual freedom has in some cases led us to some scary places, and deeply incorrect positions, but has also provided us with an open mind when it comes to understanding what is really going on here.

  6. The demorats are already scheming to take these patriots pensions away .

  7. I was reading the other day where the current commies in charge think they can and should use the UCMJ against retired and former military who criticize the current regime…

  8. I want a letter of apology from the anti-Trump FOGO who wrote their letter.

  9. I’ve found the 2020 letter, and the 2016, as well as a PDF that is supposed to be this one.

I recall that there was a 2012 letter supporting Romney, out the day before the election, I think as an ad in the paper.

At the time, I thought it was a serious mistake not to promote that letter more heavily, and earlier.

In hindsight, knowing Romney more myself, and knowing more about the probable fraud in 2012, that no longer seems like an incorrect decision.

This letter almost certainly does not have us as the intended audience.

At best, it is intended to talk some of the neutrals down off of the ledge before things get messy.

At worst, the enemy thinks they have meddled enough to turn it to their ends.

  10. With the petty vindictiveness of the current administration, these retired folk may have just signed their death warrant, or at least their access to their pension warrant.

Sad, isn’t it, that even something like this has been effectively rendered illegal by the people who scream at everyone about Free Speech and Freedom of Choice and such.

    Sad. Very sad.

  11. Hey Old NFO;

I remember all those general officer supporting Xiden against President Trump. For some reason color me not impressed that these general officers are now sounding the alarm about Xiden and the Donks, I don’t recall any support for President Trump during the election(I’m sure that there was, and it was buried) but they are retired and their influence is very limited. It is the Officers that are on active duty that have the capability and most of the general officers now are political now riding on the coattails of Barky the Lightbringer to get their star and are more concerned about their pensions and their future consulting gigs after retirement and they ain’t gonna upset that applecart. Sorry for sounding cynical.

  12. All- Thanks, found a clean copy and reposted it. Enjoy ‘labor day’ as best you can, if you’re retired, it’s just another Saturday…LOL

  13. I had 20 years in the AF, but retired in ’87. Don’t recognize any of the AF Gens.

  14. Think About This!

There are National Implications involved in the California recall election of Gavin Newsom! And not so much because they care about Gavin Newsom, but because the insiders realize what a Newsom recall really means for Chuck Schumer, and most of all, for Nancy Pelosi……Because a Larry Elder Victory in California would shift the Senate Majority to the Republicans.
Larry Elder said that if he is elected to the California Governorship, he will replace Senator.Dianne Feinstein with a Republican..Dianne Feinstein who is 88 alreay said regardless of the recalls outcome, she will not step down from her seat and plans to serve out the rest of her term, which ends in 2025.. However Dianne Feinstein who is even more Demented that Joey Biden, as they both run around not knowing which way is up!
Larry Elder told Mark Levin in an interview on his show that George Soros, Kamala Harris, and Elizabeth Warren, and just about ALL of the Key Party Leaders would lose their positions should the Senate majority change Parties So Joey Biden, Kamala Harris, and Elizabeth Warren are getting very involved in the California recall election because they’re concerned about the balance of power in the Senate.

Diane Feinstein who is Missing In Action most of the time and who had hired a Chinese Spy ,for her personal driver is very likely on the verge of retirement from the U.S. Senate, whether forced or voluntary. If she leaves, the Governor of California at the time gets to select a replacement until the 2022 election. Her mental fitness has been in question for months. If the people see she is incapable her re-election would less likely happen anyway..Everyone knows she is Senile and has been for some time. Her hiring a Chinese Spy should put an end her Senate career, if that doesn’t then nothing will!
If she Dies in office like Ginsberg did , then the Republican Governor appoints her replacement.
If Elder wins and replaces Feinstein with a Republican, the GOP would enjoy a 51-49 majority in the Senate. They would oust Schumer as Senate Majority Leader and be able to block nearly everything the Democrats try to push for the next year-and-a-half… However there’s no doubt in my mind that there will be Cheating and Ballot Fraud widespread during the recall just like there was in the previous election,

  15. Until people are willing to pick up their guns and go to war over this. An actual shooting war. Nothing with change.
It’s sad, but it’s the truth. Right now, the only side willing to kill people, is the democrats.
Yes, pretty words are pretty. But words never win in the end, only brute forcing does.

  16. All- Thanks for your comments. One of the ways to ‘counter’ the BS is to become poll watchers in 22 and 24. Just sayin…

    • ARMED poll watchers, so they can’t force you to leave.

  17. I was going to post this but you beat me to it. Not dissimilar, in a way, to the French effort a year or so ago.

And I know the dogs of war are barking for direct action, fair play, but still, at least they put their names out there. I guess we’re not quite at the point of arresting people for that.

Of course if I was in any other diocese I’d have been fired for “hate crimes” long ago 🙂
