First Slo Joe decides he’s cut cancer deaths by half! Yep… Really!!!
President Biden announced the relaunch of the Cancer Moonshot program, which was started under the Obama administration and aims to reduce the death rate from cancer by 50 percent over the next 25 years. The president announced that he would form a “cancer cabinet” that would include representatives from across the government to coordinate research and funding for cancer treatments and therapies.

“The big first here is committing the department to the idea that only zero roadway deaths are acceptable, and then aligning all of our resources around that,” Mr. Buttigieg said.
The report is broken down into five objectives: safer people, safer roads, safer vehicles, safer speeds and post-crash care. It calls on states and local governments to support research and develop technology to detect and prevent alcohol- and drug-impaired driving. It also directs the Federal Highway Administration to revise guidance to encourage safer speeds and the use of speed cameras.

Cut cancer – Cancer is mostly a disease of the old. No old people, no cancer.
Cut road deaths – No cars, no car crashes.
Cut civilian shootings – When civilians don’t have guns, they can’t shoot back at government agents and other criminals.
Talk about delusional. As if a Potatus Edict will magically cut cancer deaths. Or a decree from his poofter Transportation Secretary will magically make auto accidents diminish. The Biden* campaign floated back in summer 2019. A family friend spent his adult life trying to defeat cancer, as a doctor, scientist, educator, and administrator. Let us say there was some sarcasm in the family friend’s reaction.

Butthead’s goal is to stop people from driving. Or to put it more bluntly – he’s trying to stop people from exercising their constitutional right of free movement.

This will also allow the government to more easily track all of its subjects, so they know who to disappear into the gulags that are probably already being built.

Driving related deaths? Undo the automation mandate, and execute people who drive under the influence. American drivers are perfectly safe when you aren’t trying to mainstream operating in a permanent state of impairment.
Gun Crime? Again, a problem for which step one might be Biden’s own head on a pike.
He is proposing to solve problems that he is actively making worse. Actual solutions involve getting him, his cronies, his backers, and his co-conspirators out of power. He does not have mental competence or political support to do that.
There are only a few things that he could do that would be in the direction of delivering. One, as a matter of principle, I try never to suggest that anyone do.
5 quatloos says any eventual drug or treatment coming out of his Cancer Moonshot program winds up being mandatory, people will be ostracized, fired, and denied medical care if they don’t take it, and the incumbents will go full jackboot trying to enforce compliance.
