Once again the ‘blue’ cities death tolls rise and guess who the perps are…
If you think the skies were exploding over the long Independence Day weekend, wait until you hear what was going on in the mean streets of mostly blue cities nationwide.
The nation celebrated our freedom from British tyranny with 25 mass shootings from June 30 until the morning of July 5. One-hundred-sixty-one people were ventilated, and 25 gave up the ghost.
Chicago (of course) kicked off the summer’s July 4 “Festival of Lead” celebration with a good, old-fashioned drive-by mass shooting that left one dead and three injured. The Windy City had a similar shooting days later, leaving one dead and four wounded after roughly 100 rounds were fired at an Independence Day party. Chicago’s top police officer claimed that the cops should have “done more” and broken up the party before the shooting, relieving the “gun nuts” of responsibility for spreading mad brass around Chicago’s Southside.

Ya know, you’d ‘think’ the left would take better care of their base, but that would mean they would actually have to make them obey the laws…
But since the left is all about laws are for thee and not for me, what can we expect?
Prayers for the families of the dead is all we can offer, and hope that sooner or later ‘somebody’ will step up and help stop the continued violence.
The leftist elites don’t see the urban poor/minorities as their base. They see them at best as cannon fodder for the “struggle” against the capitalistic West. Those killed or maimed in urban violence also provide martyrs for the cause of disarming
American citizens who have nothing to do with the mass shootings.Rather like the NAZI street thugs whose violent clashes with the Red Front convinced Germans in the 1930s to elect the NAZIs to protect them from the SA.
The folks on the South Side never obey the laws….which is most of the reason the areas are such shitholes.
As for leftist Demonrats obeying laws, never going to happen as long as they have leaders snorting cocaine in the White House. Now Bidens mental lapses have a reason. I believe it was him that dropped a bag of coke in an area of the White House that the public cannot access. If a bag of cocaine was found in any Joe Schmo’s house the residents would be arressted and if convicted the house and all belongings confiscated. The Left is importing their base through the southern border being open. They know the Blue urban centers are crashing and their defund the police policy have made that even worse. If those people still vote in Dems it will because they are stupid, paid, or it is due to cheating. The Blacks are becoming less and less of a per centage of the population but they cause most of the violence and crime.
The federal definition of “mass shooting” is 4 or more dead in an incident NOT gang or family related.
25 dead in 24 incidents means none of them qualify.
They are tragic and signs of a broken city, but they aren’t “mass shootings”.
I’m curious how this year compares to other recent years.
The heyjackass dot com website tracks all the stats in Chicago, including information by neighborhood and comparing to previous years. The only stat they show I don’t really like is total death toll going back to 1957 by mayor without breaking it out by year. The two Daleys were in office a long time but they did a pretty good job of controlling crime.
If only we could get rid of all guns, then the savages would be forced to use edged weapons and clubs. The savages will continue to be savages but won’t be as efficient.
Alternatively, build more prisons, fund them properly, and pay decent wages to correctional officers.
the killing serves the left’s purpose in several ways. they will never attempt to stop it. meanwhile they yap about “oppression”. if you listen, oppression means not being allowed to rape, rob or kill as much as they want. pointing that out makes you a “nazi” and a “domestic violent extremist”.
Since whatever it is that the government is doing to prevent such events as mass shootings and peaceful-ish demonstrations clearly is not working, maybe it’s time to try something else. If nothing else, teaching the alleged offenders to shoot might be a step in the right direction. That’s something that could be taught in public schools.
