Elements of the USAF is apparently disobeying the President…
When President Trump rolled out his earth-shattering executive order that forbade DEI throughout the federal government (Culling the Herd: Thanks to Trump’s EO, DEI Departments Are Shuttered, Employees Placed on Leave), he anticipated that the forces of the “resistance” would work behind the scenes to avoid obeying. He knew they would rename organizations and hide the DEI commandos in other positions so the whole hideous mess could be reassembled, like Frankenstein’s monster, at a future date. That is why the Office of Personnel Management required all agency heads to send this memo to every employee
<snip>
There is evidence of efforts by some USAF units to ignore the executive order. This is an example from Minot (North Dakota) Air Force Base. Here, you have a memo that laughs at the executive order and clearly states they have renamed the office.
Full article, HERE from Red State.
We knew when Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Jr. too over as CJCS, he was 100% on board with DEI, and I can’t help but wonder if those who are refusing to follow the president’s direction think Gen Brown is going to either ‘cover’ for them, or bail them out.
Personally, I think it’s going to take a couple of years to actually root out the entrenched bureaucracy who support it. BATF has done the same thing with their DEI position, simply renaming the woman to a ‘senior executive’ without a job description.
From the outside looking in, I cannot say I’ve seen anything ‘good’ with DEI, as it takes away the rationale for merit promotions if you’re the wrong ethnicity, it has, to me, lowered the work standards, and made organizations and the military, LEOs, Medics, et al less safe.
I’m just glad I’m no longer in the workforce, or managing any personnel today…
What say you???
The generals and officers that are disobeying the Presidents directives and orders need to be fired and stripped of any retirement benefits as well as imprisoned for disobedience. The military must return to the system as it was when I entered the USAF in 1966!
AMEN!
Insubordination is grounds for dismissal. Take away their pension, and put them in Abu Grahib for 20 years.
I’m not surprised to hear this , I will be equally not surprised to see the new Sec of Defense address this issue . (I hope). I’ve heard the saying , some weeks are like decades , this week certainly seems like it has been a decade .
Shit flying everywhere .
And like the Epstein saying….the California fires didn’t start themselves….(my opinion)
Relief for Cause, permanent revocation of security clearances, followed by General Courts Martial.
Pour encourager les autres.
Given that it is almost impossible to fire a federal employee, they have to go somewhere. The big question is what they move on to…
I haven’t heard anything explicit, but with you I expect it will take years to end the system – and Trump was smart to send that email, because there are good people somewhere in even the worst agencies who can report anything that continues. I’ll be interested to see what happens to those who try to hide it.
Where I work, the online trainings have been disabled and in person classes shut down.
I’m curious what will happen with the emphasis months and the “observations” around them. What I’ve heard coming for Black History Month sounds standard so far…
I like the suggestion they be sent to Thule for the “transition team” in case a Greenland New Deal happens.
Fuck Thule, send them to Adak.
Why not Minot?
I’ll make an assumption,(yes I know)that there is $0.00 dollars in the budget for Office of Collaboration. So how is it legally funded?
I agree any officer that continues to ignore the Commander in Chief be brought up on charges or be retired with loss of one rank. Sometimes you just need to make some people an example for others.
Treat them like they treated “anti vaxxers”!
All- I see a ‘consensus’ here… 🙂
Where the offenders are military officers, and supposedly under orders, charge them with insubordination, convict them on their own statements and actions, degrade them of all rank, terminate their benefits, and discharge them.
For civilian employees who can’t be immediately fired, stop the damage they are doing by transferring them to a duty station that has no phone or computer service, and order them to copy in longhand the entire Internal Revenue Code.
Even if we still have to pay them, they will do less damage to the nation by not spending our money
X2
It might be important to make note of who continues to support these DIE managers in the military. Not much gets done without Minions, and it would be good to reduce the numbers of them in the military, and possibly in business also.
We have wandered too far from good practices here in the US.
Of course the entrenched left is going to resist. Anyone who thought they would obey is delusional. The question is how will Trump and those who are loyal to him respond to the insubordination. Without an effective response this administration will be just as impotent as his first one and the deep state swamp will survive to be just as evil and destructive in 4 years as they were when Pedo Joe was their figurehead.
The President should have his Secretary of Defense root out those responsible for disobeying the EO and fire them if they are civilian and those that are military charge them with insubordination and give them dishonorable discharges.
Make that “former elements of the USAF” soon.
