Soooo, the latest tranch of Epstein emails has revealed some ‘interesting’ things…
Last week’s Democratic attempt to weaponize Jeffrey Epstein’s emails against Trump backfired spectacularly. The supposedly damning evidence against Trump turned out to be a nothingburger, and the GOP’s subsequent release of 23,000 emails has already claimed its first casualty — though not the target Democrats had hoped for.
Larry Summers, the former Harvard president who also served as Bill Clinton’s treasury secretary and director of Obama’s National Economic Council, announced Monday that he’s “stepping back from public commitments.”
According to a statement he gave to The Harvard Crimson, Summers’s retreat is part of an effort “to rebuild trust and repair relationships with the people closest to me.”

First, if you’re looking for a/the ‘list’, I don’t think it exists. At best, there are the records of who flew on Lolita Airlines, but that’s about it.
If you’re part of that ‘class’ of folks, you don’t keep records of who is providing what to who. That is a guaranteed way to get dead. Those folks don’t like things getting put on paper or any kind of media, as their ‘reputations’ are protected by ‘consultants’ to make sure there is no way for someone to blackmail their customers.
If you tried, you’d probably win the cement overshoes ‘award’, and a swim with the fishes…
What there will be are the email strings. That is already paying dividends in ways the Dems didn’t want or expect. Witness the fallout in DC already.
The other thing folks seem to forget is that IF there had actually been damaging information, wouldn’t the Dems have already used it? Also, how much of what is being released is ‘accurate’? How long have people been ‘massaging’ that dataset?
Personally, I’d like to see the original evidence from 2008 that went to the grand jury in Florida. That data is probably the purest, and probably included interviews from the girls he co opted.
I doubt the MSM is exactly being fair in their coverage either, slanting stories as hard as they can to pacify their Dem handlers and the deep state.
But folks will believe what they want, regardless of the facts… sigh
Definitely agree with little / no evidence on Trump involvement with Epstein. Given the past efforts to remove him from 2nd term (big fail), the Dems would have paraded that evidence with zero qualms. No action taken – to me nothing there.
The mystery is why did Trump reverse course ? A lot of MAGA base became upset about that and there is no reason for that.
I hope any victims of this receive fair compensation (from their perpetrators, NOT US TAXPAYERS) and peace of mind knowing their story finally being told. And when evidence found for crimes against minors – let them be prosecuted just like anyone else found guilty of that.
Lets see how this shakes out.
The way I see it, with Trump refusing for almost a week, was that he was making the Dems push and push and push for disclosure.
You have to remember, Trump is playing 4D chess in a 2D world. He says things that seem to be inflammatory or stupid and, days later, causes his enemies to take it on the chin.

I think any documentation released will be more lines of black Sharpie than text .I would also be interested to see who dipped into the “congressional slush fund” to use for hush money for various reasons . At the risk of being unpopular yet truthful , I will also say I knew 17 year old girls growing up in Texas who had “sugar daddies” , but most were 18-22 years old or so . New cars , new clothes , apartments, vacations etc … just for being arm candy . They were from “good” families too . UT Austin was full of them .

Or in this case lack of verifiable facts. If something really juicy does come out at this point I give it long odds of being ginned up.
There is a truckload of conspiracy theories I do not belive in, from poison-laced “con trails,” HAARP as a military earthquake generator or weather control device, to flouridation as an IQ-control plot (or whatever was supposed to be bad about flouridation.) But I do have a pet theory that Epstein didn’t suicide and wasn’t killed that night. I think he was “made an offer he could not refuse,” that involved a substantial haircut to his wealth, and that he was extracted, given a new look by surgeons who do the sort of thing, and he’s alive in a mountain cottage by a lake, near a small town where his new name and face fit in well enough with the locals. He doesn’t go out much, and gets his needs tended to by a small staff of ‘operators’ who can also procure one or a few 18- to 23-year olds on the QT from time to time.
So PJ Media is saying there is no blackmail through the Epstein files?

Anybody who believes ANY of the “Epstein files” that are released is a fool. Too many agenda driven criminals have had FAR too long to edit, redact, scrub and alter things for ANY of it to be believable. It is now nothing but a convenient distraction for the easily distracted, intended to draw attention away from other evils being perpetrated.
Why the delay, then the reverse course? PDJT let his enemies (on all sides of the political spectrum) mouth’s overload their asses, IMO. They now own the mess they created. Cleaning up will keep them occupied while he continues doing his job.
Am I alone in appreciating how his cabinet appointees are allowed to do their jobs without micro management by him? That is a mark of a strong leader, IMO.
All- Interesting points… ‘I’ don’t have any good answers, but like I said, I’d like to see the ORIGINAL documents/testimony.
Sadly, the testimony and evidence presented to the Grand Jury are secret and there is no public interest exception for them to be released.
