Sounds like they want nothing more than to be able to felony arrest anybody that ‘might’ somehow make it through their new CCW permitting system…
Sigh… Hopefully this will engender a contempt of court ruling from Judge Scullin.

LL: What other rights should you have to jump through so many hoops to exercise? A Free Speech permit?
One of the few reasons they’ve been successful at abridging rights & freedoms in that area is because they’ve turned the people into sheeple. But pushback will happen, sooner or later.
Let’s hope it’s sooner.
The law in DC makes me ashamed to be a citizen of the United States, and not just the gun laws either.

Part of the problem in D.C. is that most of the people are of the non-Caucasian part of the human species and the idea of “gun’s” have been vilified in their community to such a point, the mindset is that only “bad” people have guns. I see this when I am teaching cub scouts how to shoot, the dusky skinned folks have no experience in guns, whereas the light skinned people have fired a lot, even the kids already have their own BB guns. I spend a lot of time ‘splaining things to then and telling the moms that “Guns ain’t bad, they have no morality..they are a tool, the person using them determines if the purpose is honorable or evil”.
You can’t honestly tell me that any of that actually surprises you.
