Just got back off a little road trip yesterday.

Getting back in here yesterday afternoon was ‘interesting’…

For FORTY minutes, as IAD went below minimums. Finally continue descent, standard approach, and a 360…
Finally gear down/land, probably 300 and 1/2… on touchdown. At the gate I asked the drivers how much more time we had. Was told they were ten minutes from diverting to Charleston, WV and already had started pulling out that approach plate…
So an hour and a half turned into almost three hours.

So apparently black on black crime in one of the most strict gun control states/metro areas is fine by him…
Then there is THIS from the WAPO, claiming there have been 294 mass shootings THIS YEAR in the USA.
Doing a little data mining on the reference site, 248 of the 294 ‘mass shootings’ listed have the shooter as unknown… Strange that… Where are the police and what are they doing???
Looking at locations, Chicago leads with 21, followed by NY with 14, Baltimore with 7, Detroit and NJ with 6. In all but either one or two of those cases, the shooter was ‘unknown’…
A random sampling of the news reports on the unknowns seemed to point to bar fights, drive bys, and primarily black on black shootings.
Where is the outrage on them? Where is BO, Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, et al???

And when the Community Organizer in Chief spoke, not one fucking word of condolence to the friends, classmates or families of the fallen. Not one word of comfort to the nation that strength will get us through. Nope! Gotta ask for stronger gun control laws, but didn’t mention how. Had to take a shot at the NRA (that tells you the NRA is doing its job), nothing of comfort. Asswipe!

I agree but anybody with basic critical thinking skills might notice that they don’t issue M-16 pattern rifles to soldiers in the UK.
R, we do issue M-16s or at least the Diemaco variants, to our Special Forces, the Recon Platoons in the Parachute regiments and Royal Marines.
As for the patch and its sentiment, the only acceptable answer is I believe ‘Not only Yes but Hell, Yes’.
