The Grey Man- Down South…

It’s alive!!!

Y’all have been bugging me for John Cronin’s backstory, so you get this…

Click the cover for the link.

The blurb-

After too much action, too much peace gets on a man’s nerves. John Cronin’s back from Vietnam and bored, when Billy Moore suggests he check out the brand new Drug Enforcement Agency. He’d expected paperwork and meetings; he got on-the-job training in South America with stakeouts gone wrong and ambushes exploding into firefights.

This isn’t Cronin’s first rodeo, and now he’s taking the fight to the cartels, from the laboratories hidden deep in the highland jungles to the enforcers in the cities and secure compounds!

And as always, many thanks to the alpha and beta readers, Steph for the editing, and Miggy for correcting my lousy Spanish! All errors are mine.

And Tina did a super job on the cover, including making up the Joker!!!

As always, HONEST reviews are appreciated!

The Grey Man- Down South… — 19 Comments

  1. It’s now on the Kindle.

What a great way to start the week.

  2. Yay! More Grey Man!

And it’s Drug Enforcement Administration. The boss is the Administrator.

  3. I have a rather large backlog of things to read, but I suppose I should get this one.

  4. Purchased. Pushed it up the list and then forced a stop after the second chapter. Looks like a number of the back stories and supporting characters get stitched together here. Very good, and I want to enjoy at a slower pace.

  5. All- Thanks! And I’m sure you will probably find errors… Just send me an email, and I’ll get them corrected… sigh… No matter how many times you read stuff… GAH!!!

    Posted from my iPhone.

  6. Ah so – very kewl. Please honorable sir let us know when a hardcopy version of this is available. No comprende Kindle or other e-reader version. Yeah, I’m a dinosaur. :^)

And thanks for your labor and hard work. I don’t know how authors beat their muse until the muse relents and gives them the inspirations of content.

  7. Brig- 🙂

jrg- This one isn’t going to be in print right now. I’m working on putting all the short stories and novellas into a combined book form later this year. Sorry

  8. Hey Old NFO;

Excellent read, I will leave an good review later this evening.

  9. All- Thanks, I appreciate it! Glad y’all seem to be enjoying it. It’s NOT a pretty story, by any means…

  10. Finished this just now. Well done and very enjoyable!
Found one typo that slipped through. At Loc 1678, “After an hour, he eeled back and went to the trees …”
    should be “peeled”.

  11. Uncle Kenny- That is actually not a mis spell. Eeling back is moving backward from somewhere by using your elbows. Glad you liked it!

  12. Bought it when it first went up. Finished it a short while ago, left a full length and 5 star review. It was great. Unsettling, but that time and place was. And still is.
    Thanks, John

  13. Left a review, 5 stars of course. I could almost smell the jungle and feel the humidity. I’ve flown over some of the areas mentioned in the book when in the military. Looking forward to the next one.
