The reporter asks Biden if any Democrats support defunding the police, after he insisted that none do. Which is an obvious lie, since Democrats did defund police in many cities and many Democrats in Congress continue to support defunding the police.
His answer???

What it suggests to me is that he was comparing this accusation with the accusations the Nazi propaganda machine made against the Jews. When I visited the museum in Dachau, I saw reproductions of posters featuring images of cartoonish Jews draining the blood of children into a bowl, presumably for use in making Passover matzo.
In a review of ‘Blood Libel: On The Trail of an Antisemitic Myth’ by Magda Teter, The Times of Israel shows some of the relevant images.
I wouldn’t have thought that the reference was really so obscure that it would have left the reporter totally befuddled, but then, probably the reporter never went to Dachau.
