Why…

Am I not surprised…

By law, the Canadian parliament must hold hearings on the use of emergency powers in order for the government justify their use. During those hearings, it has been revealed that the Biden administration was leaning heavily on the Trudeau government to crack down on the protests and allow the free flow of goods to proceed. Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland told the Public Order Emergency Commission of a phone call she got from Brian Deese, the director of the National Economic Council and Biden’s top economic adviser.

This was a subject of numerous discussions while all this was going on, and a lot of us were commenting that Biden et al had to be throwing their oar in.

Turns out we were right… Dammit…

The scary part was watching our northern neighbor go to jackboots in just a couple of days… And they are continuing to do some ‘odd’ things up there with Trudeau in charge.

  1. I have no doubt the criminals in DC were meddling up north. There’s hardly a place on the planet where those busybody pricks don’t stick their nose. I also have no doubt that Castro’s bastard son Turdoo and his minions were more than happy to oblige.

  2. tor in Chief of the US stuck his big nose into the Canadian protests and advised Trudeau to go full Communist Dictator on the people and remember both are graduates from Klaus Schwab’s school at the WEF.

  3. Canada used to be a model of civility. Not anymore. The generally unarmed public has allowed the government to go full jackboot and they seem to be happy about it.

  4. We talk of civil war here in the USA – mostly talk while ignoring our Canadian neighbors. I wonder how long it will be before the prairie Provinces say enough? I doubt those residents have surrendered their firearms.

  5. Hey Old NFO;

    When I heard and read what was going on, I suspected as you and many others that Xiden had his hand in it because the VAXX mandates was a cause that was near and dear to his heart and Canada would have been a test run on the crackdowns and see how they would work here because we share a lot of the same institutions. Canada was easier to go full jackboots than we would go for but it was a test case. Eastern Canada is mostly full of liberals so it was easier to go jackboots whereas the western provinces it would have been more difficult. It will be the same here in a lot of ways.

  6. Another piece of Cdn news: Last week the Trudeau Liberals slid an amendment to their latest anti-gun legislation to ban/confiscate many hunting rifles and shotguns. As the Trudeau liberals’ own the mainstream media in Canada (they hand out $600 million in alleged support to mainstream media so as a result they sing kumbaya where he is concerned) there has not been a mention of it on Cdn news. This a major seizure of firearms and is well on the way to eventually total firearms confiscation in the not-too-distant future. Another thing to watch will be the results of the inquiry into his Emergency Act (Marshall law) last February. It is a known but disputed fact the threshold for its enactment was not met but the federal gov’t went ahead anyway. The formal results of the Inquiry are to be released next Feb and if you’re a betting person vote on Trudeau being exonerated and made to be a national hero. Bill C-11 is the internet censorship bill which will be passed when it makes its way through the Cdn senate. This is not the country you used to know on your northern borders.
