Yeah. Looks like some additional Old Testament books are included, plus Esther and Daniel have more detail (I’m going from descriptions, don’t have a Catholic bible). There are also some wording changes in the New Testament translation.
Pretty sure my file takes up multiple drawers in a cabinet somewhere. And yes, I shop at Bass Pro because they have the good men’s flannel shirts that are actually warm. Just another entry in the file.
Yeah. I was a SAC Missile Combat Crewman with access to nukes, then a Chemical Corps HAZMAT responder trained in Chemical/Biological/Radiological/Nuclear/Explosive materials (CBRNE) warfare. We were taught how to recognize, employ, mitigate, and fabricate them. That’s enough to put me and several thousand veterans into enough files to overload several server farms.

I’m sure my FBI file has some “interesting” items in it. I was asked by an FBI investigator, who was interviewing me for a DOE “Q” clearance, if I believed in the violent overthrow of the US Government. I answered “Yes, because I believe in the Declaration of Independence. Not sure if she thought I was joking or not, anyway I got the clearance.
It’s not just the .gov lists. .Gov buys lists and processing from commercial data aggregations to link you to other people you know or share similar attitudes or politics. Those discount cards, geolocation / tracking data, and internet search records are used to generate psychological profiles of you, so far, primarily for marketing.

MidWest Chick: Check Tractor Supply for Schmidt yarn dyed cotton flannels, as long as you don’t need tall sizes. If you do, look at “Big Bill” brand. I wear these, though the fabric is so heavy that it needs a dozen washings to get it softer. Make sure that your size and color is in stock before you order, though.
John—Thanks! I’ll check it out. Sounds like what I’m looking for—if the flannel is soft immediately, it’s not good flannel.

Yes…. we have elected MPs in our State Parliament. Not many, but enough to sometimes hold the balance of power. At least our views get articulated in Parliament and our people are active members of several Parliamentary committees.
It’s been a bit of a roller-coaster. But the major Parties are manic opinion-counters, and the most effective “opinion poll” of all is an election… after which they have to ask themselves “why did so many people change their votes to…..?”
The world is run by those who show up. Many of the world’s changes have been driven by noisy minorities. Opting out of the political process is not an option.
Why wouldn’t they do evil things like this? It’s not like they have to worry about being held accountable for their abusive misconduct. Expect more of this type of misconduct…and it will be even more egregious.
When I tried to confirm that yes, I do wanna follow this particular blog post, I got a first-time-ever pop-up window saying wordpress wants to use cookies to track everything but my menu choice at lunch today. WTH?
Until these people start seeing hard time in jail and executions, this will never stopped. They don’t punish these people.
