Seems like some ‘things’ got buried…for a while…
SACRAMENTO, Calif (AP) — California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill Thursday to rename César Chavez Day as Farmworkers Day in an effort to reconcile the Latino labor icon’s legacy with explosive sexual abuse allegations before the state holiday on March 31.
The state Senate approved the legislation earlier in the day with bipartisan support.
The change comes after allegations became public last week that Chavez had sexually abused girls and women during his days building a major farmworker labor rights movement in the 1960s in California’s agricultural heartland.

How much more stuff is out there about the ‘leaders’ that has been covered up over the years? Personally, I have no idea, nor do I really care… And no, it’s not ‘just’ the men, IMHO.
But I do have to laugh at California’s ‘quick’ response, almost like they ‘knew’ something was up, and are scratching like hell to cover up the issues and hoping something else will knock this off the front page.

For a group that loves to lecture as if they are the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, Democratic state leaders refuse to learn from their failed policies. When it comes to operating state budgets and functioning as a responsible entity, these soft-brained blowhards sure do resist the temptation of common sense. Just look at recent results.
After insulting the citizens and telling opponents to go down to Florida, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul recently changed her tune and attempted a tone-deaf siren song to lure back those who fled. As soon as Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger was sworn in, she pitched her campaign pledges into the firepit and hiked taxes statewide. Then,Boeing took flight out of Virginia.
Following the same “Soak the Rich” playbook, Bay State leaders in 2022 pushed new tax legislation that depends on the wealthy doling out more dollars to the public coffers. The state would issue a new four percent surtax on those with $1 million in assets. What is forever the miscalculation by these politicians is that they feel the rich will just need to suck it up and pay out.

It is enough to make one wonder if the powers that be even realize they are shooting themselves in both feet, or they just don’t care! Why would you not take a hard look at your budget and look at realistically cutting funding back to be within the amount of money coming in???
Nah, that would mean they wouldn’t be able to ‘fund’ all those illegals they’re being a sanctuary for, right?
Sigh… Just glad I live in Texas now. And I don’t have to travel weekly anymore! Friend took the redeye back from San Diego to DC last week, FOUR hours in line at San Diego for a @#$%#! redeye!!! Needless to say, he was NOT happy.

Tons. For instance, I’ve long held the belief that if you want to find the pederasts, you look in two key locations:
a) Where there’s access to children (schools).
b) In places of power (all forms of government). Power is used to conceal their activities and to protect their fellows, and to push an agenda that brings their actions closer and closer to acceptable in general society, or at least to the point that they won’t get lynched.
Now when you consider that schools are funded by, and run by governments… Well I’ll let you do the calculus on that.
In your example it was youth labour on farms. Same idea: The kids are away from their parents and are vulnerable, and so the pederasts move in, because they’re predators and they go where the prey is.

It’s the Cloward–Piven_strategy: Overload and crash the current power and economic systems with the goal of creating a power vacuum that can be stepped into, in order to usher in an actual communist government system.
These people mean to rule over you, not just govern with the consent of the governed. Nothing else matters to them, and they will happily sacrifice millions upon millions of people to make it happen, and definitely will to maintain power once it has (or just to amuse themselves – these people are EVIL.)

Bill analyzes just how much money the U.S. Government could manage to take if it took all the wealth and assets from all the rich and everyone else. It lets you cover the budget for one year, but all the seed corn is eaten by that point and there’s nothing left to use or take.
Bill asks the very salient question: “Then what happens next?”
Good question.

a) bad people who feel driven to hurt others will tend to self select towards leadership of communist organizations for various reasons. Not to the exclusion of all other hunting grounds, but predatory minds can tell that there is good fishing where communists set up. There is also some reason for predators to collaborate inside the inner party, especially for these cult of personality image positions.
b) again, Trent Telenko’s irrational regime stuff is slightly related. But, you can understand it a different way by considering savagery among primitives. The modern university communist thinks that everything is deception and trickery, and thinks every goal is accomplished through a drum-circle-for-tinkerbell. This is their ghost dance.

The left is currently in control of the media. Anyone that isn’t in or who falls out of favor..for whatever reason…or no reason at all…gets cancelled. And the sheep follow along. The real question should be why Cesar Chavez was worshipped for as long as he was. It’s not like he was anything more than a commie seeking to get rich off of capitalism.
