Really???

With all that’s wrong with the military in the reign of POTATUS the First under his Secretary of Defense, doofus Lloyd Austin, the one thing the military needs above all else has been the one thing consistently jacked up almost from Day 1, particularly on the Army side of the house.

Here we are four years later, and I am about to raise hell after reading about it yet again. What makes the recurrences even more egregious is that the poltroonish Austin is a retired Army general himself and, while not supposed to be playing favorites in his position, you’d think he’d at least keep an ear to the ground watching out for his former peeps.

Illustrative of the entire attitude of this DoD is what keeps happening with chow halls or ‘dining facilities’ (DF) as they’ve been renamed.

Food is the issue here…repeatedly.

Howinthehell can we NOT be feeding the troops?

Granted, I haven’t eaten in a chow hall, IDF, DFAC, DF or whatever you want to call it in years, but I along with most of my shipmates pulled KP for some period of time back in the day, when the Navy had self-contained messes. There weren’t any ‘contractors’ anywhere to be seen, everything was run by the mess chiefs, from food prep, cooking, scullery, to cleaning the tables, floors, and ALL the equipment after every meal.

BUT WE ALWAYS HAD FOOD TO EAT AND EVERYBODY GOT SERVED!

I know that ‘most’ services have gone to ‘contractor’ food services, but how/why is this being allowed to happen by the officers, much less the senior enlisted?

That is…beyond belief, at least to me. The FIRST rule of leadership is taking care of your troops!

Even worse, this has apparently been going on for four years! Austin, Milley, CJCS, et al should be fired outright for this, IMHO!

Grrrr…

Thanksgiving is a unique American holiday that brings all faiths and cultures of this great nation together around a common theme of thanks.

Traditionally, we stop for a moment in our busy schedules, gather with family and friends to reflect on the year past, give thanks for our blessings and freedoms and share bounty, food and fellowship.

Many of our Military are away from home on Thanksgiving Day. Please keep them in mind as we gather around the table on Thursday and include a thought of gratitude for the freedoms they defend and those we enjoy as a result of their dedication and sacrifice.

We also need to be mindful that for many Americans, it has been another tough year. Hard times can serve as a reminder to be more thankful; if you have the opportunity, reach out to someone less fortunate this week…

Remember, it’s the Military, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press. It’s the Military, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It’s the Military, not the politicians that ensures our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It’s the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag.

If you care to offer the smallest token of recognition and appreciation for the military, please pray for our men and women who have served and are currently serving our country and pray for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom…

And all those in police, fire, and EMS that are also standing the duty today.

So, the meltdown within the DNC continues…

Kamala Harris blew through nearly $2 billion in campaign cash before losing to President-elect Donald Trump on November 5 and now, Democratic National Committee staffers have been hung out to dry. 

A new GoFundMe page has been launched to help staffers in the aftermath of the election, which wasn’t just a catastrophe for the campaign but also the DNC.

If you had any doubts about what would have happened to us under a Harris ‘administration’, this should give you an idea.

$20M in the hole, Harris et al simply walked away from those staffers who’d poured ‘heart and soul’ into the 107 day campaign. She doesn’t have to worry about money, and you can tell how much ‘joy and care’ she has for the rank and file.

Maybe those in ‘dire straits’ can learn to code right quick, while they draw unemployment…

That’s what they told the laid off Keystone workers after all.

If they ever decide to do that crap again…

A pair of climate activists who vandalized the National Archives Rotunda back in February when they dumped red powder on the encasement protecting the U.S. Constitution have learned their fate. 

Donald Zepeda, 35, of Maryland, and Jackson Green, 27, of Utah, were sentenced to 24 months in prison and 18 months, respectively, in the Feb. 14, 2024, attack on the U.S. Constitution housed at the National Archives in Washington D.C., U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge David Geist of the Washington Field Office Criminal and Cyber Division announced on Monday.

Zepeda pleaded guilty on Aug. 15 to felony destruction of property for dumping a fine red powder over a display case containing the U.S. Constitution in the Rotunda of the Archives building.

It has seemed that many of the climate ‘activists’ had gotten their hands slapped (at best), with a small fine, if not allowed to go free (well, there were those in Germany that the public yanked loose from the roadway).

Those chickens are coming home to roost…

THE WIND DIED ALONG WITH THE GOVERNMENT COALITION

And the cold weather came in just as it did. Part of the reason the government fractured? Ruinous green energy policies which exploded the price of electricity thanks to transitioning to unreliable renewables.

…The Greens are woke on steroids. Some years ago, their parliamentarians even floated the idea of legalizing pedophilia and incest. They have not met a progressive idea they do not like. Hence, they enjoy the support of garden variety radicals at universities and the youth vote.

The Greens support anything from deindustrialization and de-carbonization to transgenderism and abortion on demand. They embrace the inefficient pipe dream of “clean” energy — solar and wind in particular. On the other hand, they of course hate nuclear power that could save shivering Germans from Europe’s frigidity and high energy costs.

Dayum… Spot price of electricity 800 Euro/MWh??? And twelve days of ZERO wind power production? Not good, to put it mildly, much less not even close to affordable!

I know we’ve had a number of conversations about Germany vs. California and the idiocy surrounding dumping Nuke plants, but Germany doesn’t have any backup for natural gas after the issues with Gazprom and the pipeline (which the greenies also want to get rid of). Although it is supposedly being cut, the average daily natural gas supplies to Europe in July reached their highest this year, up 5.7% compared with a year ago and 12% higher than in June. Basically, Germany is hoping the US will bail them out with LNG exports.

According to reports, it would take between 9 months and 2-3 years to restart any of the German nuclear plants, HERE from Radiant Energy Group.

Now what coach???

Even if they form a new government, what are their options to get power back in a timely fashion? And will it be affordable/clear the environmental hurdles of the EU?

Hamas is still at it in Gaza…probably with UNRWA cooperation…

The United Nations is finally admitting that aid being driven into the Gaza Strip is being looted, a fact we’ve known for a year. And yet, officials still won’t admit which “armed people” are doing the stealing. 

We know who is looting the trucks. It’s Iranian backed Hamas and many of its members work for UNWRA. The terrorist group steals the aid, meant for Palestinian civilians, and then makes them pay for it. Hamas is also murdering civilians who try to access the aid.

97 of 109 trucks of humanitarian aid were looted by armed ‘civilians’, yet the UN blames Israel, but won’t allow Israel to actually escort the trucks. In what bizzaro world does this make ANY sense?

Much less having been going on the ENTIRE time there has been humanitarian aid moving into Gaza? What is the UN really doing over there?

United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) was established as a subsidiary organ of the United Nations General Assembly on 8 December 1949 and became operational on 1 May 1950. It is one of the largest United Nations programs, and we all know it is throughly infiltrated by Hamas, and has been since Hamas was formed. So they get up and pander to the world about how ‘bad’ things are, while, IMHO, they actively support the theft and Hamas activity.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Trump takes over. I believe there will be a significant shift to the level of support for Israel, and I also believe there will be a hard look taken at both the UN and UNRWA. I would not be surprised to see the UN kicked out of the US (long overdue in my opinion). Put them in some third world country that needs support, like Botswana, and stop paying all their bills!!!

The people in Gaza deserve better! Grrr…
