The Fourth of July is celebrated every year with vibrant fireworks displays. The night sky is lit up by dozens of simultaneous explosions. Every burst of sound is painted with a different color; creating an incredible visual experience. When we pack up our blankets, and walk away from the show, we rarely remember one particular firework; instead, we remember the entire experience. If there were one, singular giant explosion of color in the sky, we would remember it in detail, but multiple objects team up to form a blur of distraction; an overload of details. The same idea is true in politics.
First, there was the emergence of new evidence in the Benghazi cover-up. Then, there was the IRS scandal; involving the targeting of Conservative organizations. Now, there is yet another scandal involving the government seizing the phone records of the Associated Press.
All three of these stories are coming up at the exact same time, despite all three of them being old news–so to speak. Benghazi took place last year; the IRS incident has been going on since 2011; and the AP phone records seizure took place months ago. It was suggested by Michelle Bachmann that the breaking of the IRS story was acting as a cover-up for the real story: Benghazi. But I think something even crazier is in the works.
Politics–especially, and specifically in the Obama administration–is all about misdirection. Obama has misdirected the American people on numerous issues: Obamacare, immigration reform, tax increases on the middle-class, etc. There is not a single major issue that Obama has not lied about.

There is the possibility, of course, that with the serious nature of the Benghazi scandal, Obama needed multiple distractions. It is possible that Benghazi is the big fish of the three. Either way, it doesn’t matter. Because with all of this happening at once, in several months, the memory of what happened will be obscured behind a cloud of dust. Americans will remember scandal, but the details will most likely escape them. When the time comes for the 2014 mid-term elections, Americans will see commercials for Democratic candidates; vouching for their trustworthiness; and all the problems of the Obama administration will be swept under the mental rug.
And don’t forget Fast and Furious… Where has THAT gone???

And one last shot- Overheard at the meetings this week talking about the Navy, “It’s not sequestration, it’s sea-castration… Gutting the Navy’s ability to do their jobs, then blaming the Navy for not doing their jobs; but it’s ALL the Navy’s fault.”
This is a couple of years old, but it says it all as far as I’m concerned… Based on folks that I communicate with that are still active duty, this perception has NOT changed…

You just can’t fake decency. The look on President Obama’s face is telling. He will never have that connection with our troops. It’s just not in his soul.
One can ‘play’ politics all day long, but when it comes down to it, it’s the boots on the ground, the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who are the ones doing to grunt work and dying… NOT the political elite… Call them dumb if you will, but the troops KNOW the truth, and who truly supports/cares for them.

First cat launch of a UAV from a carrier…
X-47 prototype was successfully launched from the USS GEORGE H W BUSH off Chesapeake yesterday.
The X-47 flew for about an hour and made a number of practice approaches to the ship before returning to Pax River and taking the wire there.
Hellva long way from hand launching UAVs off the back deck of a ship and recovering them in a net… Just sayin…

In the article, there is a timeline. this wasnt done over a few months, it was a year or more. How many more times and reasons do we need to see that the true intent of the current administration and certain supporters is gradually beginning to rise to the top. Destruction of our American way of life, abolishment of the Constitution of the US, and rebuilding the Government to accommodate a Socialist style Government. Only the current concerned American citizens and conscientious politicians can put a screeching halt to the erosion that is taking place.
To tell you the truth, this is only a surprise to people who weren’t paying attention.
It’s only a matter of time until it gets buried by the progressive/sympathetic media. There was another article on Washington Post saying, “yes, it’s bad that the IRS was doing this, but they had what they thought was a good reason…”
This is no “mistake”, any more than it was a “mistake” for DHS and state/local law enforcement to be told to suspect people who talk about the “Constitution” of being domestic terrorists. These people know what they are doing… They just think that they can absorb the consequences of all of these actions through attrition. Just like we saw Hillary take the fall for Benghazi, someone else in the layers of government will admit responsibility for this one and step down, but this is just one of the times they got “caught”. All of the others went under our radar…
They drove tanks down the streets of Boston and barged into people’s houses looking for a couple of kids…why isn’t there more outrage about that??
The domestic news sounds more like something out of a third world dictatorship every day…
