Texas under fire…

Three explosives detonated in Austin, one in San Antonio at a FedEx facility…

And last night, an incendiary device…

Except this ‘string’ of events doesn’t make sense from a profile or M.O. if you will…

Historically, bombers don’t change ‘techniques’ in mid-stream. From public information, the first two were on people’s porches, and exploded injuring/killing people.

The third, was outside and ‘possibly’ used a tripwire,apparently had ‘shrapnel’ embedded. Technique change one…

The fourth, in a FedEx facility, specifics unknown, but first one ‘shipped’. Technique change two…

The fifth, an incendiary. Technique change three…

Now I’m NOT and expert, don’t play one on TV, etc. But having said that, I’ve been through a brief or three, and have done bomb searches in another life… My ‘guess’ is one original bomber, and at least one or two possible copycats.

If that is true, this one is going to be a PITA for law enforcement and the bomb squads. And who knows if it’s going to spread. If I didn’t order something, and know it’s coming, you can bet I’m NOT going to open any package that I receive out of the blue.

Another think  folks might want to think about is that Amazon boxes, FedEx, UPS packages are pretty damn easy to ‘duplicate’ or reuse. Just sayin…

Grrr… 14 freaking months…

FOURTEEN… Sigh… Three, count ’em, three back and forths with BATFEIEIO for more forms…

But I finally got my grubby paws on it. Now comes the ‘fun’ of getting the rifles updated with the correct flash hider/muzzle brake to accept the suppressor.

Why did I wait, you may ask? Because the gunsmith said it would be stupid to change out flash hiders without having the suppressor to mount and confirm clearances.

Soooo… Dropping the rifles off Monday, then wait 3-4 more weeks for them to be done!

Glad I didn’t wait for the HPA to become law, because I’d be even FURTHER behind than I already was. Of course it’s not all bad, I still don’t have the subsonic ammo I ordered…

Sigh…

This just… PISSES ME OFF!

An Ohio high school student says he tried to remain nonpolitical during school walkouts over gun violence and was suspended for a day because he stayed in a classroom instead of joining protests or the alternative, a study hall.

Soooo… The school left him unsupervised, which means the teachers walked out too.  If I were the parents, I’d be suing their asses for abandonment/failure to safeguard the ‘child’…

In other news, I’ve seen some reports that ‘students’ as young as 4th and 5th grades were ‘told’ to walkout in protest at various schools.

These kids are nothing more than pawns of the left, they don’t give a damn about them, other than as a photo op. I doubt that any of those kids actually have much of a clue over the entire thing.

Bal’more, which is supposedly broke and laying off teachers, coughed up $100000 to bus their kids to DC…

In Chiraq, the kids ransacked a Wally World… HERE.

Lastly, in the GOOD news column, it appears the DOJ actually did fire FBI official Andrew McCabe last night, so no pension!

“DOJ OIG compiled a report, and the FBI’s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe.  Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions.”

Finally, some accountability for actions at a high level! Now it appears McCabe is ‘threatening’ to spill the beans on everybody/everything…

I wonder where Hildabeast will find ‘this’ suicide note…

TGM Book sale…

Tomorrow morning (well 0800 PDT), the previous Grey Man books will be on sale, except for Partners. I cut the price to $2.99 on it last week, and now Amazon won’t let me reduce the price again or do a promotion on it until next month.

Note- These sales will be for the Kindle books only, I can’t reduce the price on the paperbacks.  Sorry, I wish I could, but that’s out of my control!

Also, I do have a question… Are y’all really reading the book in one session? I’ve gotten ‘yelled at’ by a few folks about losing sleep… 😀

And as always, honest reviews are appreciated. I will have paperback copies of Twilight in the end of the month, so if you want a signed one, I’ll be getting them out then.

And lastly, THANK YOU to those who’ve put out their hard earned money on my books! It is appreciated, and I do hope you’re enjoying the book!

So at LEAST three separate proposals to ‘separate’ California.

One has to wonder where/when/IF this ends, or comes to some kind of reality. One thing is for sure, and that’s the rural sections of California are NOT happy with the urban centers. Not at all…

A lot of this centers around water rights, and water, from what I’m hearing from folks that are boots on the ground. From Hetch Hetchy, to LA water district, to the farmers being cut off from water for the smelt, HERE. A friend of mine’s father sold his farm in the central valley for pennies on the dollar five years ago, because he couldn’t get any water, and it was cost prohibitive to try to drill any wells.

Mono Lake has dropped at least 50 feet, HERE.  Lake Mead/Hoover dam is also in trouble, HERE.

I can’t help but think that a combination of all these issues ARE going to bring about some changes, but I really don’t know which way they are going to go…
